Many of the points listed in the “yips” survey above,  were also reported by some of Major League Baseball’s classic players who had yips throwing problems and slumps. They include Chuck Knoblauch, Mackey Sasser, Steve Blass, Mark Wohlers, Steve Sax, Rick Ankiel, and even outfielder Shawn Green. Rick Ankeil not only threw wild pitch after wild pitch but could not come close to the mound without suffering severe anxiety. Ankeil’s yips throwing problems as a pitcher disappeared once he was made an outfielder. When figures like these reported the descriptions listed above, you can see the problem of the yips and how they manifest themselves in your game as well.

Dr. Richard “Yips” Crowley can cure the baseball “yips” and reconnect your mental game and mental toughness in about two hours over the telephone. Click here to see if you have the yips!

How do you know if you have baseball’s throwing problem, the yips? You’re always the first to know. You knew it the moment you threw the ball and it didn’t feel like it was you throwing. You thought, “What the heck just happened? That was weird! I never did that before.” That weird feeling is how the yips begin. The yips may persist or even disappear for a while only to come back again and again. You may find yourself guiding the ball as you can’t figure out why your hand, wrist or arm feels so weird. You’re fearful to just let it rip. As the yips continue, you lose your mental game, mental toughness and doubt yourself as a baseball ballplayer and have to “think” about your mechanics for the first time, ever. There is a proven and documented cure for the yips that brings you back to your mental game and mental toughness with no more problems throwing the ball. After a couple of hours over the phone with “the Yips Doc”, you’re having fun playing baseball again.
